Hi all, just a quick note that starting with this morning's batch of Steam Deck order invites, we've increased the number of emails we're sending out (again). We're excited to get more of these into your hands!
(Order emails are sent out Monday and Thursday mornings PT)
Steam Deck is coming to new regions! Starting today you can reserve a Steam Deck in Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, with the help of Komodo, Steam Deck's authorized reseller in those regions: store.steampowered.com/news/…
Reserve yours now at steamdeck.komodo.jp
If you reserve in these new regions you'll be able to order your Steam Deck later this year. The Komodo reservation queue is separate from the reservation queue in NA / UK / EU regions, so people who have already reserved won't see any impact on their current shipping estimates.
We love seeing what games folks play on Steam Deck vs Desktop - for example, these are are the top 10 titles of the past week on Deck!
No Man's Sky
Grand Theft Auto V
Aperture Desk Job
MONSTER HUNTER RISE
Hello! SteamOS 3.3 and a bunch of Steam Client updates are out of beta and have been shipped to all Steam Decks. This update includes improvements to game mode, desktop mode, docked mode, audio, stability, and more.

Great news: Everyone who currently has a reservation can get their Steam Deck by the end of this year! We’ve cleared up supply chain issues, a bunch of folks got moved up to Q3, and all other reservations are now in Q4.
More details here:
For our friends in the midst of a heatwave, a quick note about Steam Deck in high temperatures. Steam Deck performs at its best in ambient temperatures between 0° and 35° C. If the temperature gets higher than this, Steam Deck may start to throttle performance to protect itself.
A bit more detail about this – Steam Deck’s APU runs well at temperatures up to 100°C. At 100°C, it will start to throttle performance, and at 105°C it will shut down. Again, this is to protect itself (and you) from damage.
Happy Q3-eve! We’ve just sent our first batch of order emails out for folks in the Q3 reservation window, and starting today we’ve more than doubled the size of each email batch!🎉
Emails will be sent out on the same cadence - every Monday and Thursday, with a 3 day order window.
And as a reminder, if you happen to miss your order window for Steam Deck and would still like to purchase, just go to help.steampowered.com/en/wiz… and select 'Contact Steam Support'. There is a grace period of a few days.
Hello! Some great news on the production front. We just sent the last batch of Q2 emails, and we’ll start sending Q3 reservation emails on the 30th.

If you're expecting your email and haven't received it yet, give it some time to make its way through the internet. Or just go to store.steampowered.com/steam… (while logged in) to check your reservation status.
Hi all, just a quick heads up - if you happen to miss your order window for Steam Deck and would still like to purchase, just go to help.steampowered.com/en/wiz… and select 'Contact Steam Support'. There is a grace period of a few days.
